Introducing the Queen's Army Classic Underwear: Underwear on a Mission
At Kade & Vos, we believe every woman deserves to feel comfortable in her own skin. That is why we made it our mission to create high-quality, comfy underwear and clothing for women of every size. However, feeling comfortable and confident in your own skin can go much further than shape and size. Women all across the country and the world struggle every day due to conditions and situations that are out of their control, one being a life-changing disease of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). March is MS Awareness Month, which is why we have chosen to partner with the Queen’s Army to shine a light and raise funds for women with MS.
What is MS?
Multiple Sclerosis is a long-lasting condition impacting the body’s central nervous system that can hinder information flowing between the brain and the body. MS can affect the brain, spinal cord, and the nerves throughout the eyes.
MS can make even the simplest everyday tasks a true challenge for those who suffer from it. Those with MS can often struggle with basic body functions, including muscle control, vision, and even balance. While the condition affects the physical body, the limitations it causes can lead men and women with MS to experience anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems. MS can also bring on a financial burden when it hinders individuals from working or requires expensive treatment and hospital bills.
MS is often unpredictable, and a cause has yet to be discovered. Even the severity and progress of MS vary greatly from person to person. However, while little is understood about MS, it is known that women suffer from the condition at a much higher rate than men. In fact, two to three times more women are diagnosed with MS than men. Because of the disease’s great effect on women, many women with MS and their loved ones have come together to create the Queen’s Army.
What is the Queen’s Army?
The Queen’s Army are the brave women with MS who are warriors and advocates for themselves and each other. The Queen’s Army is all about giving women with MS a platform to share their stories and band together against the disease.
Christina, a founding member of the Queen’s Army, says that women with MS are just your average women. She points out that because of the expense of treatment, many live on a tight budget:
Most of us are everyday people. We live paycheck to paycheck, wear the same clothes everyday, drive cars that are in bad need of repair, struggle to make it through the day, wishing you could just rest only to work a 9 hour day and come home and remember that the real job starts off the clock.
Christina also says that MS is not very glamorous. Most members of the Queen’s Army do not look like supermodels. However, the Queen’s Army gives its members hope and a voice.

K&V Queen's Army Classic Underwear
To show our love and support for the amazing work the Queen’s Army is doing, we are thrilled to introduce the K&V Queen’s Army Classic Underwear. This underwear will kick off a line of underwear all new to Kade & Vos: The Classics Collection.

For every pair sold, 20% of the profit will go straight to the National MS Society to continue its mission of raising awareness of MS and empowering the women who have it.

For the Classics Collection, that means ultra, soft cotton in a jersey knit. And every pair is available in any size. In fact, if your size isn’t available on the size chart, we will make a pair especially for you. We believe every woman should feel comfortable and confident in what they wear, and that starts with amazing underwear.

Apart from rocking your new underwear, there are plenty of ways to raise awareness this March for National MS Awareness Month.

This year’s theme for MS Awareness Month is Visibility, which is why the National MS Society chose #MyInvisibleMS as their hashtag for the month of March. Help shine a spotlight on MS by joining in the conversation online and in person.
