What are the requirements for face coverings at K-12 schools?

The best way to find your states guidelines and mandates about k-12 face mask coverings is to visit your State & Territorial Health Department Websites. The resources below link to health departments in all 50 states, 8 US territories and freely associated states, and the District of Columbia.

Some states simply state that face coverings are required while other states indicate children must wear and bring at least 2 masks with them. If you’re not able to find information through your state health departments, I suggest searching your local school district or directly calling your child's school.
