Kade & Vos is rapidly growing and we are seeking an Email Marketing and Social Media Specialist to build our awesome brand. This is an equity compensation and commission position. We are looking for long term partnerships who believe in our mission.
The ideal candidate is someone with a strong background in creating exceptional content across media platforms and who can identify meaningful opportunities to connect with our subscribers and followers. Must have in-depth understanding of fat positive community and language. Ideal candidate also has strong intersectional feminist understanding of the oppression faced by fat/ plus-size/ infinitfat people.
You will be responsible for managing email and social campaigns that generate excitement for the brand, leveraging touch points to inform and educate a diverse user base, and developing strategies to drive traffic to our site.
This role is integral to customer happiness, and it's a blast for people who are efficient, flexible and enjoy making people happy! You'll be on the front lines of delivering on our mission to our customers.
Email Marketing Responsibilities
- Utilize our marketing platform to develop, manage, test, and iterate on email campaigns—this includes identifying engagement opportunities, designing email experiments, developing campaign strategy, executing campaigns, analyzing results, and applying learnings to future campaigns
- Write on-brand email copy and create visually engaging and functional email templates
- Analyze usage metrics, understand the story behind the data, and create usage reports
- Actively manage contact list size and health, data collected, and target segments to create relevant and engaging campaigns
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to brainstorm new user engagement strategies
Social Media Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, create, edit, and share engaging content daily
- Align social media strategy with overall business goals
- Ensure brand consistency through collaboration with other departments, including but not limited to marketing, sales, or customer service
- Remain current on popular technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Monitor metrics of web traffic and SEO
- Monitor user messages, responding to queries in a timely and on brand manner
- Oversee digital design of social media platforms, i.e. Facebook Page cover, profile photo, etc.
- Suggest and implement unique features such as new collaborations, promotions or giveaways to develop newfound brand awareness
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years proven work experience in email marketing and social media
- Hands on experience in content creation, tracking, and management
- Excellent skills in the following areas:
- Copywriting
- Communication
- Analysis
- Multitasking * Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Working understanding of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Strong eye for design and proficient in Photoshop/ Canva
